SEIA GmbH named Best Trade Compliance Technology Company 2026 in the EU Business News German Business Awards

SEIA GmbH has been named Best Trade Compliance Technology Company 2026 in the German Business Awards, an annual programme published by EU Business News. Now in its tenth edition, the programme recognises companies and professionals operating across Germany.
According to the publisher, winners are assessed on criteria including business performance, growth, innovation and stakeholder feedback. This year’s results were announced online in October.
The recognition comes at a time of considerable change for trade compliance functions. Export control and sanctions regimes are expanding in scope and frequency, and organisations are increasingly expected to demonstrate not only that their controls exist, but that they work.
SEIA was founded in Munich in 2022 by two practitioners with backgrounds in trade law and data analytics. The company developed SEIA PERCEIVE, an on-premises assurance layer that helps large multinational organisations test and evidence the effectiveness of their export control, sanctions and customs programmes, while providing critical cross system trasparency and data-driven risk assessments.
