SEIA featured in Export Compliance Daily

SEIA's managing director Erika Trujillo was featured in Export Compliance Daily discussing the growing complications that companies, especially those multinationals in Europe, are facing in respect to export controls and sanctions between the U.S. and China.



Ms. Trujillo and Marcus Brenscheidt, SEIA's Director for Technology and Innovation attended the European Strategic Summit for Trade Controls in Washington, DC last week. In addition to presenting on the topic of Increasing Legal Liability & Enforcement: Approaching the Future of Risk Management with Data Analytics, Ms. Trujillo also spoke on a panel about the rising fears and challenges of trade with China.

The key take aways that Ms. Trujillo offered, focused on the need to think strategically and proactively about trade compliance, to leverage internal data or "information that a company already has" to gain transparency and actionable insights that can support business resilience.
